I love Durango. So isolated though.

Lisa says:

Isolated, yes, I’ll give upi that, but it is a year round outdoor playground with biking (1,000 miles of trails), sailing, whitewater rafting, swimming, hiking, hunting, fly fishing, skiing, soaking in the mineral hot springs. The population is under 20,000, but they have the good grocery stores, shopping, boutiques, 3 colleges, the largest wilderness area in CO is just to the north, the beautiful Animas River winds through town, wild west character with art galleries, awe-inspiring scenery with a laid back culture. two wineries, and +/-5 breweries. It’s arid with a forest feel. Great for gardening. Mesa Verde Nat’l Park is under an hour away. Why leave to go anywhere else? It has so much to offer!
